Our comprehensive advocacy training program has successfully graduated 200 new advocates this year, bringing the total number of trained advocates to over 1,000 nationwide. The program provides intensive training on disability rights, advocacy techniques, and policy engagement.
Graduates of the program have already made significant contributions to disability rights advocacy, including organizing local campaigns, providing support to individuals, and engaging with policymakers. Many graduates have gone on to start their own advocacy initiatives in their communities.
“These advocates are the backbone of our movement,” said our Training Director. “They bring passion, dedication, and local knowledge that is essential for creating real change.”
The next training program will begin in the spring, with applications opening next month. The program is open to anyone interested in disability rights advocacy, regardless of their background or experience level.
